Zalmar Perlin is the daughter of Marjorie White, whose papers (MC 184) are largely concerned with the work of Mary Milbank Brown on matriarchy and esoteric, patristic language. For several years ZP, who is a painter and art teacher by profession, carried on this work, doing further research on language and giving workshops on it for the National Organization for Women.
